Precautions for video optical transceiver

Video optical transceiver is a kind of equipment that converts video signal to light. It is a kind of transmission equipment, which is widely used and very important. Therefore, there will be a lot of precautions in daily use.Let’s take a look at what are the precautions.

Lightning protection:
The grounding grid is well grounded, and the grounding resistance is preferably less than 1 ohm;
The power supply, video signal cables, and control data lines need to be installed with lightning arresters. It is especially emphasized that the grounding of each video signal line, data control line and power supply should be grounded with a 10 square ground wire, and copper should be welded on the ground wire. The noses are then crimped on the grounding flat steel respectively. Take 8 channels of video and one reverse data as an example: 10 10 square ground wires are required (1 for data, 1 for power supply, plus 8 for 8 channels, total 10). Note that these 10 lightning protection ground wires cannot be connected to the same point of the flat steel of the grounding grid, and the distance between two adjacent grounding points is preferably more than 20 cm.

When the optical fiber interface is not used for a long time, please wear a dust cap. In order to prevent dust from entering and affecting the transmission of light. Pay attention to the installation specifications during the installation process, and separate the signal line and the power line. Never put the power cord (especially AC220V) on the control signal line and the DC power supply line of the optical transceiver by mistake to cause damage to the equipment. The front end machine should be waterproof during use.
