1. Brief introduction of PDH optical transceiver equipment

The hardware part adopts a large-scale FPGA, which integrates encoding, decoding, information insertion, and alarm switching, which makes the circuit simple and improves the reliability of the whole machine.

The PDH optical transceiver mixes and encodes the E1 signal and transmits it on a pair of optical fibers. The PDH optical transceiver network management function facilitates the unified management of communication equipment by industry users. Through the central network management, management functions such as monitoring, configuration, resetting, and function upgrade of the corresponding remote equipment can be completed.

2. Main functions and features of PDH optical transceiver

Provide RS232 network management interface, support unified network management; (applicable to carrier-grade NT-240D/240D+) dual power supply, mutual hot backup, (applicable to carrier-grade NT-240D/240D+) provide 4 E1 business ports, full digital clock Recovery and smooth phase lock technology can choose AC220V, DC48V, DC+24V, DC-24V power supply to provide complete local/peer end alarm monitoring,  The three-color light indicates that it supports local/remote E1 branch loopback, provides one official telephone, provides a transparent RS232 data channel, and the rate is 300-19.2Kbit/s adaptive.

3. PDH optical transceiver function

a. E1 transmission: The product can realize 4-16 E1 (2Mb/s) optical fiber transmission.

b.Ethernet transmission: through the optional Ethernet module, four channels of 10M/100M adaptive Ethernet service optical fiber transmission can be realized.

c.Service function: The product can be equipped with service telephone function to realize the business communication between two optical transceivers.

d.RS232 data: The product provides a RS232 asynchronous data channel. The data rate is self-adaptive below 115.2Kb/s, and the data format is self-adaptive.

f.Switch quantity interface: The product can be equipped with a relay output switch quantity interface, which can be used for alarm or control.
